I'm sure everyone has heard many variations of this joke:
How many blonde's does it take to change a lightbulb?
How many Irishmen does it take to change a lightbulb?
How many Texan's dos it take to change a lightbulb?
Etc.... the list goes on and on.
Well - We found out this past week that it takes at least two Harder's and the internet to figure out HOW to change a lightbulb.
The light near our shower in our bathroom has been out for 2-3 weeks.... we immediately attempted to change it, but failed and since then we have been showering in the dark. (Well, not completely dark.)
Thursday night we decided it was time to figure it out. After about 20minutes of each of us trying - (The problem was removing the fixture part of it to get to the lightbulb...no screws, wouldn't turn, wouldn't pop off) I had the novel idea to GOOGLE the problem.
http://www.google.com/ - I typed in "bathroom light with vent + can't change" . WaLa - up popped our answer. I have no idea how anyone got anything done before the internet was invented. Thank-you, Al Gore. (I'm kidding.)
After about 15 more minutes of following the suggestions we found on the internet, the bulb was off and changed. It was such a momentous occassion that I snapped a few pictures.

Great pictures, Dave! :) We know how to fix a lightbulb, but we can't figure out how to stop our ceiling fans from "clicking" as the go round and round. Any suggestions for that one, or should I google it? :)
In that last pic, Dave is like " see! that's all there is to it!" good job.
Hi guys - You two are just amazing! McGuiver would have been proud. Just imagine what he could have done with the internet!
You guys are so cute. Can't wait to see you in a week!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so glad that Dave married such a smart and resourceful woman...he'd probably still be showering in the dark:) We are also thankful for the ingenious Al Gore, so glad that after inventing the internet he still had the energy and sense of civic duty to alert us of the global warming crisis! Ha Ha
